Biography: 
Born in Eastchester, New York, Ethan received a degree in music from Yale University and went on to train in opera at the Academy of Music and Performing Arts (Vienna), receiving his degree with distinction. His theatre experience includes The Phantom in The Phantom of the Opera (Her Majesty's Theatre, London, Toronto and Vienna), The Beast in the European premiere of Disney's Beauty and the Beast (Vienna), Joy in a new children's musical Timuria (German tour) , Monsieur Andre in The Phantom of the Opera (Her Majesty's Theatre), created the role of the Narrator/Assassin Luigi Lucheni in the world premiere of the Austrian musical Elisabeth, Max in Berstein's Candide (Innsbruk Summer Music Festival) and Che in Evita (Open Air Festival Schwebisch-Hall, Germany). Freeman also contributed a song text, Bustopher/Gus/Growltiger in Cats (Hamburg). His concerts include performances at Carnegie Hall, in Japan with Skitch Henderson's New York Pops Orchestra, and in major concert venues in America and Germany. He has made radio appearances in The Poet in Kismet (BBC Radio 2). His recordings include German language cast album of Beauty and the Beast, Jesus Christ Superstar, Grease, Brigadoon, On the Town, Sweet Charity, and an all star Christmas Album in Vienna. He has just released a solo album titled With You.
