Annalene Beechey
Fantine's illegitimate child, she grew up in
the Thenardiers' house treated like a kitchen slave. As a promise to Fantine, Jean Valjean
rescues her from the inn and takes her away to Paris. Cosette lives with him
as his daughter, growing into a beautiful young woman. By an accident in the street, she
meets the revolutionary student, Marius, and they fall in love. That night Marius visits
Cosette her home. On this same evening, the house is attacked by the Thenardiers'
gang. Valjean, thinking it was Javert, decides that they need to leave France.
Cosette is heartbroken, thinking she will never see her beloved Marius again...
